飛航工程師（Flight Engineer，F/E），在舊一代的大型飛機，除了正副駕駛以外，駕駛室內還有專人管控飛機的液壓操控、燃油消耗等系統，稱為飛航工程師。由於飛機系統操控的電腦化與自動化，目前新型的飛機已經不需要有飛航工程師，大幅節省了航空公司的人力成本。
