在化合价有改变的氧化还原反应中，由高价变到低价的物质作氧化剂，具有氧化性，被还原，其产物叫还原产物。

常见的氧化剂有：

• 氧气、臭氧
• 氟气、氯气、溴
• 次氯酸
• 浓硫酸、硝酸
• 高锰酸钾、重铬酸钾
