擊球員是指棒球比賽中，進攻方上場打擊的球員，又稱作打者。打擊手必須手握球棒站在本壘旁的打擊區內，設法將防守方投手所投的球擊出，以便上壘。如能經過一壘、二壘和三壘，最终回到本壘，即可贏取分數。
