可汗，又称大汗，古代北亚游牧民族柔然、高车、突厥、吐谷浑、铁勒等建立的汗国，其政治首领皆称可汗。最初，这个称呼是部落里一般部众对首领的尊称，原意是神灵”、“上天”之意。可汗作为一国之主的称号最早始于402年柔然首领社崘统一漠北自称丘豆伐可汗。
