世界大樓曾經是紐約市早期的一幢摩天大樓,完工於1890年，它已經被拆除了。它從家庭保險大樓拿走了最高摩天大樓的頭銜。世界大樓擁有地上20層，屋頂高309英尺(94.2米)與尖頂349英尺(106.4米)。它於1894年被曼哈頓壽險大樓超越屋頂高度(雖然沒有超過他的尖頂高度)，並於1899年被公園街大樓超越。
