Thomas Samuel Kuhn (* 18. júl 1922, Cincinnati, Ohio - † 17. jún 1996, Cambridge, Massachusetts) bol americký filozof, teoretik a historik vedy.

Zastával koncepciu historistickej dynamiky vedeckého poznania, podľa ktorej sa vývoj vedy neuskutočňuje v plynulých zmenách, ale prostredníctvom revolučných procesov (spontánnych zmien určitého modelu - paradigmy). Presnejšie tvrdí, že sa striedajú etapy tzv. normálnej vedy (uznanie istej paradigmy) a tzv. kritické etapy (kedy v dôsledku nahromadenia neriešených problémov nastupuje revolúcia vytvárajúca viacero súperiacich paradigiem). Kuhn pritom zastáva stanovisko internalizmu.
