Diana Ross is a famous American soul-music and pop singer. She was born in 1944 in Detroit, Michigan in the USA. She worked as a secretary in Detroit and first became successful with the a group as 'The Supremes'. They were part of the success of the Motown record label in the 1960s and sold millions of records. Diana Ross had a successful solo career from the seventies and is a high-paid concert performer. She also starred in a films: The Lady Sings The Blues, the story of the blues singer Billie Holiday, and in The Wiz. A version of the old movie The Wizard Of Oz.
