Christina Aguilera (December 18, 1980- ) is a pop music personality from the United States. A native of Staten Island, she made her debut on the Ed McMahon show Star Search in 1990 and, three years later, starred on The New Mickey Mouse Club.

In 1998, she recorded "Reflections" for the soundtrack to Disney's animated film Mulan. Its success was minor, compared to what All I Wanna Do and her self-named debut album did for her.

She has performed songs such as "Genie in a Bottle", "What a Girl Wants", "Beautiful", "Fighter", and "Dirrty". Already she has had six albums to her credit:

Aguilera co-wrote American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson's Miss Independent; it was originally written for Stripped.
