Faris Al-Sultan is een Duits professioneel triatleet. Hij won in 2005 de Ironman Triatlon op Hawai. Hij werd in 1978 geboren. Zijn moeder is Duitse, zijn vader komt uit Irak. Naast zijn carrière als triatleet, studeert Al-Sultan in Munchen Arabische Taal- en letterkunde.
