누악쇼트(, , )는 모리타니의 수도이며 사하라 사막최대의 도시이다. 누악쇼트란 말은 '거센 바람이 부는 곳'이란 뜻이다.

대서양 기슭에 위치해 있으며 인구는 1999년 추계로 881,000명이다.

지리

사막 지대이며 강수량은 거의 없다. 평원지대이다.
