暗礁（あんしょう）とは、岩や珊瑚礁のために浅くなっている水域のこと。航行するときは座礁の恐れがあるため、避けて通る。また慣用句で、何かが障害となり物事がうまく進行しないことを「暗礁に乗り上げる」という。
