思考（しこう）とは、結論を得ようとする観念の過程。目標に至る筋道方法を探そうと働く精神活動のことを言う。

知覚や記憶のはたらきだけでは不十分な場合に、どのように理解し、また行動するべきかを考えるはたらきのことを思考と言う。
