は、約物のひとつで、対象となる文字の右肩に右上から打つ点である。日本ではダッシュと呼ぶことが多い。また、点を2つ打つものを「ツーダッシュ」と呼ぶ。
  • 微分を表す。
  • フィート、分(時間、角度)などの単位を表す。
    例：
    • 2′3″=2フィート3インチ、2分3秒
    • 1° 2′3″=1時間2分3秒、1度2分3秒
  • 類似していることを表す。
    例：
    • A′= Aに類似しているもの
    • A″= AとA′に類似しているもの
