アセトアミド（acetamide）とは、酢酸のアミド。

化学式

分子式C2H5NO。示性式CH3CONH2。

性質

無色で六角形の結晶を持つ固体。分子量59.07。融点82℃、沸点221℃。20℃で水に97%、エタノールには31%溶けるほか、クロロホルムやグリセリンにも溶けるが、エーテルにはほとんど溶けない。

酢酸アンモニウムと無水酢酸とを加熱すると得られる。

加水分解すると酢酸とアンモニア、脱水するとアセトニトリルになる。 LiAlH4などによって還元され、エチルアミンを得る。
