  • Another name for grunge rock group Alice in Chains' final album Alice in Chains (album)
  • A slang term for a man with an unusually large penis (as if the penis is a third leg); used famously in the Austin Powers movies to describe Mini-Me.
  • Tripod.com, a free webhosting service currently run by Lycos
  • The Tripods, the Samuel Youd (aka John Christopher) science-fiction novels, also made into a TV series.
  • M2 Tripod, the primary medium machine gun tripod of the U.S. military of the 20th century.
