Thiocarbanilide is an organic chemical compound. It is also known as sym-Diphenylthiourea, Diphenylthiourea, Diphenylurea, 1,3-diphenyl-2-thiourea, DPTU, 1,3-diphenylthiourea, and Sulfocarbanilide.
Thiocarbanilide is commonly used as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber, and as a stabilizer for PVC and PVDC.
