In anatomy, a styloid process refers to the slender, pointed process (protrusion) of the temporal bone of the skull or the radius and ulna bones of the lower arm. They usually serve as points of attachment for muscles.
"The Styloid Process" is also the title of the literary and visual arts journal at Emory University School of Medicine. It is published online at http://www.students.emory.edu/thestyloidprocess/.
