Spaghetti straps are a kind of narrow shoulder straps used in tank tops, cocktail dresses, evening gowns etc, so named with reference to the thin pasta strands named spaghetti.

In some establishments spaghetti strap dresses are banned, along with jeans, halter tops, and tank tops. The Roman Catholic Church forbids women to wear such a dress inside the church.

Some women jokingly refer to spaghetti straps as "linguini straps".
