Revision

A revision:

• is a modification; i.e. a constitutional revision
• produces a version.

Revision is also used to refer to studying academic subject material in preparation for a test or an exam (e.g. GCSE), though in this sense reviewing is a more common term. ('Revision' is the only term used for this in British English, never 'reviewing'.) See also: Cramming
