Redcedar is an alternative name for two North American species in the cypress family Cupressaceae:

• Eastern Redcedar or Eastern juniper (Juniperus virginiana)
• Western Redcedar (tree, Thuja plicata)

Redcedar is also the name of an Australian species in the mahogany family Meliaceae:

• Australian Redcedar (Toona australis)

Neither is a true cedar (Cedrus).
