A pulmonary agent (or choking agent) is a chemical weapon agent designed to impede a victim's ability to breathe, resulting in suffocation.
Examples of pulmonary agents include:
- Chlorine gas
- Chloropicrin (PS)
- Diphosgene (DP)
- Phosgene (CG)
