In anatomy, the perineum is the region between the genital area and the anus in both sexes. It is considered to be one of the intimate parts of the body. Common nicknames for the area include barse, grundle, taint, guiche, gooch, geesh (both deriving from guiche), nifkin, scranus (a portmanteau of scrotum and anus), assneck, chin rest, fleshy-fun-bridge, nether region, no mans land, barasch, bossman, banus, the vanilla stripe (referring to Neopolitan Ice Cream in which the vanilla stripe is between the pink and the brown), and choad or choda.
The muscles of the perineum may therefore be divided into three groups:
Mellemkød | Perineum | Väliliha | Périnée | Tarpvietė | Perineum | Períneo | Промежность | Mellangård
