Milk salad is made of strained yogurt, cucumber, and garlic.
In Serbocroatian, this (Greek) tsatsiki-like side-dish is called "Tatarska Salata", or "Tatar Salad", possibly related to Tatar Sauce because of a similar composition. It is often eaten with ćevapi, a Yugoslav barbeque specialty.
In Bulgaria it is sometimes called "sukh tarator" (сух таратор — dry tarator).
