List of islands of the Republic of China

This is a list of islands under the Republic of China administration (all claimed by the People's Republic of China).

(A) Under the jurisdiction of Taiwan Province

Taiwan Island (台灣島) (Taipei Municipality and Kaohsiung Municipality on the Taiwan Island are not part of Taiwan Province)

Keelung City
- Keelung Islet (基隆嶼)
- The Three Northern Islands (北方三島)
  - Huaping Islet (花瓶嶼)
  - Mianhua Islet (棉花嶼)
  - Pengjia Islet (彭佳嶼)

Penghu County
- Pescadores Islands (澎湖群島)
  - Cimei (七美)
  - Wang-an (望安)

Pingtung County
- Liouciou Islet (琉球嶼)

Taitung County
- Green Island (綠島)
- Orchid Island (蘭嶼) (Lanyu Township)

Yilan County
- Gueishan Island (龜山島)
- Diaoyutai Islands (釣魚台列嶼) (sovereignty disputed; under the control of Japan)

(B) Under the jurisdiction of Fuchien Province

Kinmen County
- Quemoy (金門島)
  - Lesser Quemoy (小金門)
- Wuciou (烏坵)

Lienchiang County
- Matsu Islands (馬祖列島)
  - Beigan (北竿)
  - Nangan (南竿)
- Dongyin (東引)
- Siyin (西引)
- Jyuguang (莒光)
  - Dongjyu (東莒)
  - Sijyu (西莒)
  - Yongliou (永留嶼)
- Liang Island (亮島)
- Gaodeng (高登)

(C) Under the jurisdiction of Kaohsiung Municipality

South China Sea Islands (南海諸島)
- Pratas Islands (Dongsha) (東沙群島)
- Macclesfield Bank (中沙群島) (claimed by the People's Republic of China, the Republic of China, and Vietnam)
- Paracel Islands (西沙群島) (disputed with several Southeast Asian countries)
- Spratly Islands (南沙群島) (disputed with several Southeast Asian countries)
- Taiping (太平島) (disputed with several Southeast Asian countries)

These islands were part of Guangdong province, and later the Hainan Special Administrative Region, before the relocation of the ROC government to Taiwan in 1949. The ROC claims all the South China Sea Islands, but only administers Pratas and Taiping.
