Lipoprotein lipase () is an enzyme which hydrolyzes lipids in lipoproteins like those found in chylomicrons into fatty acids and an alcohol.

LPL deficiency leads to hypertriglyceridemia (elevated levels of triglycerides).

Lipoprotein lipase is found in endothelial cells lining the blood vessels of the body.
