A hexahedron is a polyhedron with six faces. A regular hexahedron, with all its faces perfect squares, is a cube.

Some hexahedra are:

• Quadrilateral faced:
  1. Parallelepiped - six parallelogram faces
  2. Rhombohedron - six rhombi faces
  3. Hexahedral trapezohedron - six congruent rhombi faces
  4. Cuboid - six rectangular faces
  5. Quadrilateral frustum - an apex-truncated square pyramid
  6. Cube - six square faces
• Pentagonal pyramid - one pentagon and five triangles
• Triangular dipyramid - six triangles
