Bacteriostatic against actively growing TB bacilli, it inhibits RNA synthesis and bacterial growth.

Kinetics


It is well absorbed from GIT and well distributed in body tissues and fluids, 50% is execreted unchanged in urine

  • Optic neuritis (difficulty discriminating between colors red and green)
