Zachary Martin or Zack as he is called; is a fictional character from Disney Channel television series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Zack is played by Dylan Sprouse. Zack is the older twin of Cody Martin by 10 minutes; he is more troublesome and is outgoing but has a very in-your-face nature.

Zack has a more "cool" attitude and does not have as much knowledge or common sense as Cody. According to the show, Zack has only gotten 1 B and 2 A's (One of the A's is only mentioned as an 85) in school. While he is not the best student academically, in the episode Books & Birdhouses he showed that he is extremely good at woodshop, to the point that his teacher decided to recommend him for advanced placement woodshop. Cody was stressed because Zack was better at that one school subject.

Zack is the troublesome of the twins; he and Cody are huge fans of the Red Sox and hate the Yankees, he likes skateboarding, playing basketball and soccer; all which he is pretty good at. He also is good at dancing (more hip hop). He is always playing pranks on his twin brother and is more slob of the two. Although his brother is described as being the sweeter person between the two, Zack has proven to be the more loving brother in many episodes (Election, Books & Birdhouses, etc.). He is more interested in girls, hitting on Maddie mostly; but has been mention to hit on other girls. He wishes to become a race car driver/secret agent.

He owns a harmonica as shown in Boston Holiday, he has played lead/rhythm guitar for Rock Square in Band in Boston with his fellow band members; Cody Martin on the keyboard and also sings in background, Max also on guitar as background singer and Tapeworm on drums.

He is a great bowler as illustrated in "Bowling" averaging 225.

He is sloppy and dresses casually unlike his brother. He seems to get all the girls, even Cody's girlfriends Gwen and Jolie. He tends to drag Cody into prediciments.

• Although Zack is said to have a "pointless" crush on Maddie, this has been disproven in episodes such as A Prom Story
