The Zivilgesetzbuch (ZGB) is the Swiss civil code. It was created by Eugen Huber and was adopted in 1907. The code was admired because of the clarity of its language and because it left the code vague for judicial interpretation. It has been adopted in Turkey. Judicial interpretation allows the law to develop with society.
