X-Factor Investigations is a fictional detective agency run by Madrox starring in the Marvel Comics series X-Factor. Madrox uses his duplication ability to send his clones, known as "dupes" out to learn things, such as a fighting technique. He used this to learn a lot about being a detective in a short amount of time.
Also on the staff are Madrox's best friend and special enforcer, Guido Carosella (Strong Guy), and their former team mate Rahne Sinclair (Wolfsbane) The agency was named, by Guido, after the government-sponsored mutant supergroup the three founders had previously served on.
In the aftermath of House of M, the agency was expanded to include Siryn, Rictor and M. Madrox has become a millionare after winning a Who Wants to be a Millionare-style gameshow and used that money to expand the agency, recruiting several of his former colleagues of X-Corporation Paris.
New members include Siryn, a powerless Rictor, and M. Layla Miller inserted herself into the group, reorganizing their files in a way only she understands, in order to keep them from discovering the truth behind the mutant Decimation.
