The World Scout Jamboree (Jamboree Scout Mondial in French) is a gathering of Scouts (ages 14-17) from all over the world. Jamborees are held every four years and are organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). The World Scout Moot is a similar event, also organized by the WOSM, for Scouts aged 18-30.

During any given year there are up to ten Jamborees (or smaller Jamborettes) somewhere in the world. Regional Jamborees occur every three years, such as Asia Pacific or Pan African Jamborees.

Kandersteg International Scout Centre is known as the Permanent Mini Jamboree.

Three other worldwide Scouting events occur every year: the simultaneous World Scout Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and the World Scout Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI). Recently, the Jamboree on the Trail (JOTT) has been founded as an international day of hiking.
