Woodstock (1970) The film is about "3 Days of Peace, Love, & Music" at the Woodstock Festival in 1969; directed by Michael Wadleigh and edited by Martin Scorsese, among others. The Official Director's Cut spans 225 minutes. There is also a solo DVD release of Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock.
Awards
The film won the Academy Award for Documentary Feature and was nominated in the Best Film Editing and Best Sound categories. In 1996, the film was deemed culturally significant by the U.S. Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.
