Will Rogers World Airport is located in southwestern Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is the primary commercial airport in Oklahoma.

The airport gets its name from comedian and legendary cowboy Will Rogers. In 2004, 3,389,000 passengers passed through Will Rogers World Airport, making it the busiest airport in the state in terms of passenger traffic.

Will Rogers World Airport has undergone a massive renovation in recent years. The 1960s-era concourses were demolished to make way for a larger, expanded terminal with modern functionalties. The current phase of the project is scheduled for completion in 2006. A future phase calls for the addition of another concourse with several more gates.
