Western New England College


Western New England College, is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, the College serves 3,700 students on its main campus and at six sites throughout the Commonwealth. Undergraduate and graduate programs are offered through the College's Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and Law. The 2006 edition of U.S. News' America's Best Colleges ranks Western New England College among the top tier in the North Region's "Best Programs in Graduate Study - Master's."

Western New England College School of Law is also situated on the sprawling suburban campus. Nearly a century old, the law school has produced over 6,000 alumni who live and practice in all fifty states. An ABA-accredited institution and a member of the AALS, the law school is the only such school in western Massachusetts, and is acclaimed for its small sections of students and dynamic, young faculty. Its recent graduates currently practice as federal attorneys, corporate executives, and in-house counsel to Paramount Pictures, Praxair, Otis Elevator Co., General Electric, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co., and the CVS Corporation.
