• For the 1952-74 minor pro league, see Western Hockey League (minor pro)
• For the current junior hockey league active since 1966, see Western Hockey League (from 1966-68, known as the Western Canada Junior Hockey League, and from 1968-1978, known as Western Canada Hockey League)
