Warren Demian Manshel (1924-1990) was born in Germany and went to school with Henry Kissinger. Manshel became a naturalized US citizen and graduated from Harvard University.

He was United States Ambassador to Denmark from 1978-1981.

Manshel was an investment banker and co-founded Foreign Policy with Samuel P. Huntington and The Public Interest with Irving Kristol. Manshel was also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
