Hachette Book Group USA (HBG) is a publishing company owned by Hachette Livre, the largest publishing company in France. It was formed when Hachette Livre purchased the Time Warner Book Group from Time Warner on March 31, 2006. At the time of the acquisition, Hachette Livre split Time Warner Book Group into two parts: Hachette Book Group USA to focus on the American market, and Little, Brown Book Group for the UK.

Notable authors include Nicholas Sparks, James Patterson, Sidney Sheldon, Nelson DeMille, Jon Stewart and the writers of Comedy Central's The Daily Show, Rick Moody, David Foster Wallace, Tucker Carlson, Lou Dobbs, Richard Kiyosaki (author of the RICH DAD, POOR DAD series) and Michael Connelly.
