Vision (also known as yorkVision and formerly York Student Vision) is one of two student newspapers at the University of York. It is distinguished from its campus rival, nouse, by its tabloid design and anarchic sense of humour. It has won numerous national awards in both the Guardian Student Media Awards, and NUS/Mirror Student Media Awards. In 2004, it was named The Guardian Student Newspaper of the Year for a record third consecutive year - the only time this has occurred in the 26-year history of the ceremony.

Sections

York Vision is composed of four sections, most of which are broken down into further subsections, each headed by their own editorial team. These are:

News (incorporating News, Politics, Comment and The Sketch - a satirical page)
Features (incorporating Features, Style, Travel, Food and Drink and Life)
Sport
Arts (incorporating Culture, Books, Music, Film, TV and Listings)
