A virtual office or serviced office is a location which allows many people doing business to share an office address and business machines. The facility often includes receptionists, mail support (mail forwarding/mail sorting), telephone banks, fax machines, copiers, computers, and sometimes even call answering services.

Virtual offices are usually found in major cities around the world, such as New York, London, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong and more.

Some virtual offices are primarily providing postal addresses, with services routed externally (e.g. to home workers). Others include office floorspace and either hot desks or dedicated space. These services are known as Serviced Office.

Another definition for a virtual office is a computer network system that allows users to login in from any location (e.g. an airport) and access their email, documents and other stored files. In this sense, the 'office' is the place where the person logs into the computer network.
