View Askew Productions is the film production company created by Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier in 1994 responsible for such cult films as Clerks., Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks 2 (together the View Askewniverse) Where Characters in the films have stories about characters in the other films and have interacted with them. Also characters from the first 3 films, otherwise known as the Jersey Trilogy also appear in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Kevin Smith's coming of age film Jersey Girl, does not feature any of the characters from his previous movies, though does feature some of the actors in other roles.

The company has also produced films not directed by Kevin Smith, such as Drawing Flies, Reel Paradise, Vulgar (film), A Better Place, and Big Helium Dog.

When not making movies, Kevin Smith and View Askew productions run a wide array of websites such as Movie Poop Shoot Which was originally created for his Movie Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, News Askew A site originally started by fans Brad Plevyak & Chris Alley and still run by them, Movies Askew A site used to run a film contest that View Askew ran for aspiring filmmakers, My Boring Ass Life Kevin's online blog, and the individual sites for all of his movies.
