Vickie Milazzo, 53, pioneered the field of legal nurse consulting in 1982. She created the first national certification for LNCs in 1994. CLNC® designation is the official certification of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC®). She is owner and CEO of the $12 million Houston-based Vickie Milazzo Institute, a division of Medical-Legal Consulting Institute, Inc.
In February 2006, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., (N.J.) published her latest book, Inside Every Woman: Using The 10 Strengths You Didn't Know You Had to Get the Career and Life You Want Now.
Milazzo is the only known practicing LNC educator who is both a nurse and an attorney. She lives in Houston, Texas and is married to Tom Ziemba, an attorney and employee of her company.
