ver.di is a large German trade union. It claims to be the largest trade union in the world, with 2.6 million members. "ver.di" is an abbreviation for Vereinte Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft, which means "united trade union for the services sector".

In 2001 ver.di was formed when the German Salaried Employees' Union merged with four unions of the German Confederation of Trade Unions (DPG, HBV, ÖTV, IG Medien).
