Vanessa Fernandes (born September 14, 1985) is an athlete from Portugal and Portuguese sports club SL Benfica. She competes in triathlon, and is daughter of the cycler Venceslau Fernandes, winner of the 1984 Volta a Portugal.

Vanessa Fernandes competed at the second Olympic triathlon at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She took eighth place with a total time of 2:06:15.39.
