Vaikunta is the abode of Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and other living entities who have freed themselves from the bondage of the material world. It is the place of eternal bliss, exclusive to the Lord, his eternal consort Lakshmi, and the three-folded serpent Sesha Naga, upon whom the Lord and his wife rest.
Vaikunta is also the Name of a three headed Image of Lord Vishnu, where one head is a Lions Head (Narasimha-Avatara) one (the central) is human and one is the head of a boar (Varaha-Avatara).
An introduction to the concept of the Spiritual or Divine Universe, can be found here. It may be noted that there are references to the Divine World in The Srimad Bhagvatam , Akilattirattu Ammanai and a few other scriptures. More information can be found out in and [http://www.iskcon.org/
