VJ, or veejay, is a person who introduces and plays videos on a video music channel or show.

VJ is derived by the seldom used term video jockey, a derivative of the term disc jockey, DJ (deejay) as used in radio.

Other terms used are VDJ for Video DJ or MVJ for Mobile VJ
