The University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center (“UCDHSC”) is part of the University of Colorado system and located at locations in Denver and Aurora. The university offers wide variety of degrees ranging from the undergraduate to graduate level, and is host to the University's teaching hospital.

In 2005 the Regents merged the University of Colorado at Denver and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center campuses. As a result, the University of Colorado now encompasses three campuses, down from four. The campus will soon realign many of its operations at the Fitzsimons campus of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, scheduled to open in 2007 on the grounds of the former Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Aurora.

Most undergraduate activities remain at the Auraria Campus.
