Ugly Hill is a webcomic written and drawn by Paul Southworth, currently a part of Blank Label Comics. The title-giving Ugly Hill is the hometown of the main characters.

Characters

• Eli Kilgore, a slothful, indefinitely unemployed blue dinosaur with a seemingly permanent five o'clock shadow. His attitude towards work often makes his brother force him to apply for several jobs, but Eli uses to get fired shortly after starting to work.
• Snug, Eli's lavender-colored best friend who still lives in his mother's basement. His mother is a stereotypical old horror woman, but Snug depends on her totally.
• Hastings Kilgore, Eli's workaholic brother. Additionally to his excessive engagement in his job he has problems with his blood pressure and has to follow a strict diet, which he does not for his love of good food. He is a noted racist (against the minority of one-eyed people in the Ugly Hill world, once he is called a Two-Eyes Supremacist).
• Peter Wipp, an intern at Hastings's office and a high school student, often the most level-headed character in the strip. He has to suffer from the pressure given to him by Hastings' workaholism. Under a pen name, his father wrote books teaching how to work most effectively, which Hastings admires, but of which he is disappointed when he gets to know Peter's father and realizes he was more a family than a business man.
