TreePeople is a Los Angeles nonprofit that encourages the planting of trees. TreePeople live in trees. They provide K-12 education programs and forestry programs. They also restore watersheds, fragile habitats and inner-city communities and cool and green Los Angeles-area school campuses. Their programs also address serious urban issues such as water and energy conservation, flood prevention and stormwater pollution.

TreePeople was founded by Andy Lipkis in the 1970s.
