Trapper Peak is the highest point in the Bitterroot Mountains in southwest Montana. Located at approximately 45°53.39'N and 114°17.86'W, it is within the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area. It rises over 6000 feet (1830 m) above the nearby Bitterroot Valley. A trail to the peak climbs 3800 feet (1160 m) from the end of a Forest Service road.
