Traction is an ASP platform for digital relationship marketing.

Traction can be used by marketers and advertising agencies to communicate with consumers one-to-one. It manages communications over a number of digital channels including e-mail, SMS, Web, and iTV. It recognises individual customers each time they interact with a brand, and with consent continually collecting data on them, Traction also allows marketers to personalise their customer dialogs. It protects consumers from spam by ensuring they only receive electronic communications that they have given their consent to receive. The software manages opt in – opt out, soft and hard bounces and other list management functionality. One of the core functions of the Traction platform is analytics. The user can use analysis tools to review the success of his marketing campaign through e-mail.

Communication analysis

  • Delivered/undelivered
  • Read/unread
  • Number of times an email is forwarded (within the company)
  • Cross-platform interaction (check if list recipient also filled out a recent web survey)
  • Geographic bias (check if customers with one nationality forward more mails than others)
  • Vertical bias (are financial customers responding to "call to actions" more than other industry verticals)

Traction has a flexible web survey back-end. The front-end HTML is divorced via api hooks from the back end database allowing for concept driven look and feel. The software allows the user to automate the process of getting consistent questions and answers, and to ensure no one is missed. Post survey analysis is similar to above but even more critical trends can be observed over time.
